The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Hong Kong (ACCA Hong Kong) has elected Ambrose Ting as its new chair for the 2026–27 term.
The appointment was announced at the organisation’s 76th annual general meeting (AGM) on 23 September.

Brian Li was elected vice-chair. ACCA Hong Kong also named its committee members for the new term.
Ting is an audit and assurance partner at Deloitte China. He has more than 25 years of experience in auditing, business advisory and due diligence across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Australia.
He has been a committee member of ACCA Hong Kong since 2020. During that time, he has served as co-chair of the professional development sub-committee and the student affairs sub-committee. He has also been a member of the ACCA Greater Bay Area Advisory Board since 2022.
Speaking after his election, Ting said the ACCA would continue building connections across geographical, professional and value-based lines to create opportunities.
Ting said: “ACCA will launch a redesigned qualification framework in 2027, further strengthening future professionals’ abilities in AI, technology application, business insight, sustainability and professional judgment.
“ACCA will work hand in hand with partners across sectors through geographical, professional and value-based connections. Geographically, ACCA fully leverages Hong Kong’s strength as a bridge connecting the Chinese Mainland and the world, introducing international professional standards to the Mainland market while bringing Mainland opportunities to global investors.”
Li, the newly elected vice-chair, is director of strategic revenue development for corporate and institutional banking at HSBC.
He has served on the ACCA Hong Kong committee since 2021. From 2021 to 2026, he was co-chair of the professional development sub-committee and co-chair of the student affairs sub-committee.
ACCA Hong Kong’s other committee members for 2026–27 are Gloria Chan, Jacqueline Chow, Eunice Chu, Yeti Lai and Gary Lam, along with Dicky Lee, Stephanie Leo, Kenny Leung, Polly Wan and Rebecca Wong.
Wilson Cheng will serve as observer in his capacity as immediate past chair. The ex-officio members are Natalie Chan, Winnie Ki and Jennifer Tan.
