Reports in Italy claim that Bayern Munich are considering a summer move for Inter defender Yann Bisseck, and that the Nerazzurri are hoping to bring in two Serie A replacements should the German head back to his homeland during the transfer window.

Bayern keen on Inter’s Bisseck

Inter are set to part company with several senior figures in their defensive line this summer: Matteo Darmian and Francesco Acerbi will leave the club at the end of their contracts in June and a decision has not yet been made over Stefan De Vrij, also out of contract next month. But, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that another ‘big name’ could be sold to help facilitate new arrivals.

Alessandro Bastoni had been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, but the Italy international now seems inclined to stay in San Siro. Now, reports indicate that Bayern Munich are keen on Bisseck instead.

The 25-year-old centre-back has recently switched agents, which La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests is no coincidence. He has recently given an interview discussing his ambitions for more opportunities with the Germany national team as well, with just one cap to his name thus far.

There had been reported interest in Bisseck from Crystal Palace last summer, but the Premier League outfit were not prepared to go beyond the €30m mark. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the asking price from the Nerazzurri this time around is now in the region of €40m following the 2025-26 Serie A and Coppa Italia double.

If Inter are to sell a first-team defender this summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that they want to bring in both Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo and Oumar Solet from Udinese.
