The Simpsons Season 37 is bringing in serious star power. Michael Keaton, Lindsay Lohan, and more are joining the show. The fan-favorite TV show is returning to Disney+ today.
According to the streamer, The Simpsons Season 37 is scheduled to drop on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Lohan and Keaton will both appear as guest voice stars. Matt Groening serves as both the creator and executive producer. James L. Brooks and Matt Selman will also be executive producers.
The summary of the popular TV show, per Rotten Tomatoes, reads, “This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him.”
“The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family’s religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.”

For the main cast, Dan Castellaneta plays Homer Simpson, Grampa Simpson, Groundskeeper Willie, State Comptroller Atkins, Barney Gumble, Squeaky-Voiced Teen, Mayor Quimby, Sideshow Mel, Krusty the Clown, Mr. Teeny, and several other characters. Julie Kavner voices Marge Simpson, Patty and Selma Bouvier, and Jacqueline Bouvier.
Nancy Cartwright is a part of the cast and voices more than seven characters, including Bart Simpson, Database, and Ralph Wiggum. Yeardley Smith plays Lisa Simpson. Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer, too, portray several characters in the show.
