Diptyque opens new concept flagship blending Hong Kong heritage with Parisian interiors

Hong Kong – Diptyque has unveiled a new flagship boutique on Hollywood Road in Hong Kong, introducing a two-storey, 100-square-metre retail space that brings together the Maison’s signature craftsmanship, artistic imagination, and eclectic design influences.

Located at the corner of Hollywood Road and Peel Street, the boutique features a two-tier green façade designed to complement the building’s asymmetrical architecture. The new store also incorporates visual elements inspired by both Parisian interiors and Hong Kong’s decorative traditions from the 1970s and 1980s.

Inside, the flagship combines mouldings and alcoves reminiscent of Haussmann-style apartments with neon lighting, galvanised metal ceilings, marble mosaic flooring, and wooden furnishings. A panoramic window on the upper floor showcases an animated neon installation by artist Jive Lau, visible from the street.

The ground floor centres around a large wooden display island featuring a curated selection of products, alongside dedicated areas for gifting, décor, and fragrance collections. A staircase finished in skai leather and topped with a Murano glass chandelier connects visitors to the upper level, where the brand’s home collections, candle ranges, perfumes, and body-care products are displayed.

The upper floor also houses the Les Mondes de Diptyque candle collection and the Les Essences de Diptyque fragrance line, alongside an Art of Body Care section featuring a fresco by Redfield and Dattner inspired by Hong Kong’s surrounding landscape and architecture. Additional interior details include lacquered cabinets, mirrored accents, and vintage-inspired furnishings designed to reflect the character of the neighbourhood.

According to the brand, the flagship was designed as an immersive retail space that encourages visitors to explore Diptyque’s home fragrance, perfume, and body care collections through a series of curated environments and displays.
