BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – Celebrities from Illinois and Wisconsin will fill the dugout and diamond of ABC Supply Stadium in Beloit for the annual Border Brouhaha charity softball game.
The game, set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, brings together a mix of professional athletes, entertainers, local leaders and media personalities with the proceeds going toward Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
So far, the celebrities announced for the game include:
- Mason Crosby — Green Bay Packers all-time leading scorer and Super Bowl champion
- Jordy Nelson — Super Bowl champion wide receiver and Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer
- Ahman Green — Green Bay Packers all-time leading rusher and four-time Pro Bowler
- Brad Jones — Former Green Bay Packers linebacker and Super Bowl XLV champion
- Daniel Hardy — Chicago Bears linebacker, motivational speaker, and leadership advocate
- Ca’lil Valentine — Standout running back for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini
- Jeff Budzien — Wisconsin kicking legend, business leader, and community advocate
- Bonnie Blair — Five-time Olympic gold medalist and one of the most decorated Winter Olympians in American history
- Nick Baumgartner — Olympic gold medal-winning snowboarder and five-time Winter Olympian
- Andrea Boehlke — Survivor fan favorite, television personality, and Wisconsin native
- Molly Crosby — Philanthropist, community advocate, and co-host of the Border Brouhaha
- Rob Valcq — Wisconsin State Representative for the 33rd Assembly District
- Pete Woodkey — Project manager for Corporate Contractors Inc. and Beloit community leader
- Mike “Jocko” Jacques — WMTV 15 Sports broadcaster
Organizers plan to announce more celebrities to the lineup in the coming weeks.
“Adding Andrea Boehlke, Nick Baumgartner to an already incredible roster of Bear and Packers legends, Olympic champions, and local celebrities creates an experience fans won’t find anywhere else while helping support the important mission of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin,” said Sky Carp President Zach Brockman.
Tickets for the family-friendly event start at $18 and are available at skycarp.com or by calling the Sky Carp Box Office at 608-362-2272. Funds raised by the Border Brouhaha Celebrity Softball Game will help create life-changing wishes for local children battling critical illnesses.
