Raphinha scored in the 25th, 42nd and 67th minutes, with his first and third goals coming from penalties. Portuguese defender João Cancelo (8′), Asier Villalibre (36′, own goal), Brazilian substitute Gabriel Jesus (79′) and Lamine Yamal (89′) scored Barcelona’s other four goals.
Racing Santander’s two goals were scored by Senegalese forward Maguette Gueye (30′) and Moroccan substitute Yasser Zoubiri (65′).
Barcelona secured their sixth consecutive La Liga victory and seventh successive win across all competitions, taking their tally to 18 points at the top of the table.
They are three points clear of second-placed rivals Real Madrid, who have 15 points.
Atletico Madrid also showcased their attacking strength, defeating Osasuna 4-0 despite the absence of Argentina international Julian Alvarez.
