June 24 – Germany’s Bundesliga has signed with the prediction-market business Polymarket in a multi-year deal that runs from the 2026-27 season.
The agreement makes Polymarket the league’s official prediction market partner, letting US users trade event contracts on Bundesliga match outcomes. It comes with digital and social content built around match predictions, and hands Polymarket exclusive US rights to use Bundesliga and club intellectual property in a listed prediction-market format.
Sportradar, the Bundesliga’s official data and streaming partner, keeps exclusive rights to distribute official league data, and any feed to Polymarket sits under a separate commercial deal.
Ari Borod, Polymarket’s president of sports business development, said: “The Bundesliga is home to some of the most exciting players in world football, and its U.S. audience reflects that.”
It’s a familiar move for Polymarket, which has been busy. The firm already has deals with LaLiga, Serie A, and MLS, plus MLB, the NHL, and the UFC, and only this month added Mexico’s Liga MX as its exclusive US prediction-market sponsor.
Robin Austermann, the league’s Americas EVP, tied the deal to its long-term work with Relevent Sports to grow German football across the region.
Relevent, which brokered the agreement, holds a strategic partnership with the Bundesliga struck in 2024 and is understood to run at least 17 years. The group has built out a dedicated Americas team and a content studio in Guadalajara.
