Beware Boiúna, a killer snake movie like Anaconda, has released a brand new trailer. The film, which features Jessica Rothe, is directed by Mike P. Nelson.
Released by Lionsgate, the survival horror movie’s plot revolves around a group of medical volunteers who are stranded in the deadly Amazon forest. As they try to navigate their way out, the entire group is terrorized by a life-threatening serpent that compels the group to take extreme survival measures.
The official synopsis of the 104-minute-long film reads, “Deep in the Amazon, a medical mission spirals into a fight for survival when Boiúna, a colossal ancient predator, awakens to reclaim her domain. In the jungle where nature holds absolute power, she decides who lives and who dies.”

What happens in Beware Boiúna trailer?
The trailer of Beware Boiúna begins with Kiana Madeira’s character in a terrifying scenario as she is hunted by the predator. An eerie hissing sound can be heard when the line “The greatest killer snake movie of all time,” as reviewed by Joblo, shows up on the screen. The scene then cuts and moves to showing the rainforest of the Amazon.
Madeira and others are inside the rainforest with firearms as they talk about Boiúna. “Boiúna, mother of the waters, this is her domain”, the trailer reveals. The characters then find themselves in danger as they are hunted by the massive, insatiable monster.
Jessica Rothe’s character announces, “If we don’t leave here now, we all die.” Introducing the local folklore surrounding Boiúna, one of the characters gives a warning in the 1-minute 29-second preview, adding, “She decides who lives, she decides who dies.”
The cast of the suspense horror features Kiana Madeira, Jessica Rothe, and Logan Marshall-Green. Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer have produced the project. The story has been conceived by Tony Giglio and Alan McElroy, while Alan McElroy has done the screenplay.
Beware Boiúna is slated to release in theaters across the U.S. on October 2, 2026.
