ComingSoon can exclusively reveal the trailer for a restored version of Donald Sutherland’s classic 1967 war film, The Dirty Dozen. Arrow Video has announced a new limited-edition 4K and limited-edition Blu-ray release for Robert Aldrich’s feature. The new remaster includes footage that Arrow Films restored from the original 35mm camera negative.
Arrow Video has also released a new trailer for The Dirty Dozen, giving fans a glimpse of the restored footage in higher quality. The upcoming 4K UHD version will also support Dolby Vision, bringing Aldrich’s grimy film to new light on supported HDR displays.

The trailer opens with narration telling viewers that Lee Marvin’s Major Reisman is commanded to take 12 convicts and lead them into a secret mission. Footage shows the various convicts, the eponymous Dirty Dozen, in various conflicting situations.

The Dirty Dozen stars Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Clint Walker, Donald Sutherland, Jim Brown, Ben Carruthers, Stuart Cooper, Tom Busby, Colin Maitland, Telly Savalas, Charles Bronson, Trini López, John Cassavetes, and Al Mancini. The film is directed by Aldrich from a screenplay by Nunnally Johnson and Lukas Heller.
The Dirty Dozen has received several TV sequels over the years. A remake of the original film was also announced by Warner Bros. many years ago, though it has yet to receive any updates.
The restored version of The Dirty Dozen releases on November 17, 2026.
