The installations at I.T Hysan One and I.T Xintiandi extend Jonathan Anderson’s evolving vision of craft, design, and collectible fashion

JW Anderson has unveiled new dedicated retail spaces at I.T Hysan One in Hong Kong and I.T Xintiandi in Shanghai, continuing the brand’s broader repositioning around craft, curation, and material-focused design.

Opened in April 2026, the spaces reflect Jonathan Anderson’s increasingly personal approach to the brand, where fashion, craftsmanship, and collectible objects are presented less as seasonal products and more as part of an evolving creative environment. The concept builds on Anderson’s growing emphasis on traceability, artisanal collaboration, and long-lasting design, themes that have become central to the latest phase of JW Anderson.

The curated selection includes knitwear produced in Scotland with Pringle, Japanese-crafted denim developed alongside specialist makers, archival-inspired House cardigans, and pieces from the ongoing JW Anderson x Guinness collaboration. Accessories include the signature Anchor Tote alongside hand-crocheted bag charms that reinforce the playful, handcrafted sensibility increasingly associated with the label.

Rather than functioning as conventional retail spaces, the Hong Kong and Shanghai installations extend what the brand describes as the “JW Anderson world” into a more immersive physical setting, where clothing, objects, and craftsmanship coexist within a carefully edited environment.

The openings also reinforce the growing importance of Asia within the brand’s retail strategy, particularly in cities where fashion consumers increasingly gravitate toward brands offering a stronger sense of authorship, collectibility, and cultural specificity beyond traditional luxury positioning.
