Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori has been named in Arsenal’s starting eleven to face Burnley on Monday evening, as the Gunners look to take a giant leap towards their first Premier League title in two decades.
Mikel Arteta named a strong lineup for the must-win match against an already-relegated Burnley, with Calafiori in the eleven despite concerns over his fitness.
The Italian was substituted at half-time in the 1-0 win over West Ham, with some concerns over the player potentially suffering a fresh injury setback.
Calafiori has missed several spells this campaign, prompting Arteta to utilise the likes of Hincapie and Lewis-Skelly at left-back.
In total, the Italian has played 34 games in all competitions for the North London side this season.
Despite all this, the former Bologna man was given the all-clear to feature on Monday.
