Hong Kong-Canadian singer Charlene Choi, one half of the Cantopop duo Twins, has announced her marriage to fitness coach Elvis Lam, who is 10 years younger than her, after several months of dating.
Choi shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday, posting two photos: one showing their wedding rings and another of the couple in wedding attire, The Star reported.
“Congratulations to me for marrying you. Congratulations to you for marrying me. Please take care of me in the future. Thank you everyone for your well wishes,” she wrote.

Choi was first reported to be dating Lam in Nov. last year. She confirmed their relationship in an interview in January and said in March that they had moved in together and that she had introduced him to her parents.
According to STheadline, Lam works as a fitness trainer for celebrities at a gym in Central, Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and his monthly income is estimated at over HK$100,000 (US$12,800).
Choi, 45, entered the entertainment industry as a model in Hong Kong before being scouted by the Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), which paired her with Gillian Chung to form the Cantopop group Twins.
She was previously married to Hong Kong actor Ronald Cheng from 2006 to 2010.
