FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) — Hazmat crews had to be called to the scene of a restaurant fire in Flatbush, Brooklyn on Wednesday to remove lithium-ion batteries from the premises.
Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the fire that broke out at Nice Chinatown restaurant on Foster Avenue around 5:45 p.m., according to FDNY officials.
Citizen App video from the back of the restaurant shows firefighters responding.
It took them about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
