A few famous faces appeared in the third season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, sparking major excitement among the cast.

Why It Matters

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is Hulu’s most successful unscripted show and has become a cultural phenomenon since the series premiere in September 2024. With millions of viewers, the show has blown up in popularity, and several celebrities count themselves among its fans.

What To Know

Season 3 premiered on Thursday and took viewers on a trip through the lives of the women on the cast. Along with lows, such as Jessi Draper Ngatikaura and Jordan Ngatikaura’s separation, this season showcased some truly high moments for the cast—including a few scenes that demonstrate the show’s growing popularity among celebrities.

When the women travel to California for a Hulu-sponsored bash, they run into Scott Disick and Khloé Kardashian.

Kardashian is a huge fan of the show, something Taylor Frankie Paul admitted was crazy to learn. Taylor told Scott they have a “Scott” of their own on their show, referring to Dakota Mortensen, and that he’s an a**hole.

“By the way, I graduated from being an a**hole when I turned 38,” Disick said in response.

Taylor clarified Dakota is a “very likable a**hole.”

Disick also congratulated Mikayla Matthews, Jen Affleck and Mayci Neeley on their pregnancies, while Kardashian said that there were “so many babies.” One of the women explained that it’s not uncommon for them because they’re Mormon.

“I can’t even remember what I said or did. I know I was like, bowing down at some point,” Affleck said in a confessional, reflecting on the moment they met Kardashian and Disick.

Matthews had another major encounter with a celebrity when the women were at the Stagecoach festival.

While at the country music fest, singer Lana del Rey messaged Matthews on Instagram to invite the women to the side stage of her performance. She told Matthews that she was a huge fan of the show. Matthews immediately tells Neeley, and the two celebrate the moment as they get ready for the concert.

“Lana Del Rey is a fan of our show, it is so crazy,” Neeley said in a confessional. “I’ve made out to all of her songs.”

Matthews, Ngatikaura and Neeley all meet the singer, and she asks if they’re “mic’d up.” They confirm they are and that they’re working. When Lana asked about Leavitt, they told her that Leavitt is the “villain,” adding that the drama is “real” and not for the show.
