After the frenzy of awards season, the summer months can feel a little light on major celebrity sightings, which is exactly why Wimbledon’s arrival is always welcome. Britain’s grand slam tournament has long served as a star-spotting opportunity, drawing royalty, Hollywood heavyweights and fashion favorites to southwest London each summer.
Zendaya, Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, Cynthia Erivo, Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Cruise are just some of the famous faces to have taken their seats courtside over the years — and 2026 is already proving no exception.
Fashion, of course, is part of the spectacle. On court, Wimbledon’s famous all-white rule remains one of the tournament’s most recognizable traditions; off court, it has inspired a spectator wardrobe of its own, with many guests leaning into the so-called Wimbledon whites.
The first day of the tournament, on June 29, brought a fresh wave of star power to Wimbledon, including David Beckham and his second-oldest son, Romeo. Their appearances came just days after Romeo’s first foray into the world of film was revealed.
Bringing a dose of Hollywood glamour to the All England Club were director Judd Apatow, his wife Leslie Mann and their daughter Maude Apatow, along with Isla Fisher. They joined British actors Jameela Jamil, Jason Isaacs and Mark Rylance, as well as The Traitors US star Maura Higgins — dressed thematically in spikey tennis ball heels — Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist Chris Appleton and The Great British Baking Show‘s Mary Berry in the stands.
The celebrity wattage is only set to rise. On June 30, Serena Williams is set to return to singles action against Australian player Maya Joint, before reuniting with her sister Venus for a doubles match in early July.

You’ve got to give The Traitors US star Maura Higgins props for her thematic look. A tennis ball Chanel bag and point-toe pumps with tennis balls on each heel — very similar to the Loewe pair that Zendaya wore during her 2024 Challengers press tour — were the perfect picks for the fashion-forward occasion.
