Which Stars Are Confirmed & Could Return for Netflix Movie

Last Wednesday, Netflix officially announced the development of Grown Ups 3, teasing the return of its main cast led by Adam Sandler. This marks Sandler’s latest collaboration with the streamer, more than a decade after signing onto a multi-movie deal.

Confirmed Grown Ups 3 cast

Netflix has confirmed the return of Sandler as Lenny Feder, who was first introduced in the 2010 comedy film as a big-shot Hollywood agent. Grown Ups 3 will reunite him with long-time collaborators, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock, and Kevin James, who are set to reprise their respective roles as Marcus Higgins, Rob Hilliard, Kurt McKenzie, and Eric Lamonsoff. The first installment featured them as childhood best friends reuniting for their basketball coach’s funeral after three decades. Meanwhile, the 2013 sequel featured the quintet’s friendship going stronger than ever after Lenny decided to move back to their hometown.

Unconfirmed Grown Ups 3 cast who could return

At the moment, further details about the third installment are still under wraps, including which stars from the franchise would also be returning. Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, Colin Quinn, Steve Buscemi, and Tim Meadows are some of the original cast members who are likely set to return since their characters played significant roles during the first two movies. In the franchise, Hayek, Rudolph, and Bello portrayed the respective roles of Lenny’s wife Roxanne, Kurt’s wife Deanne, and Eric’s wife Sally. Meanwhile, Quinn, Buscemi, and Meadows’ characters were the core five’s childhood rivals.

Besides them, there’s also a possibility that the streamer might bring back the actors who played the core five’s children in the first two films, including Jake Goldberg and China Anne McClain. It would be interesting to see if the new sequel will also pay tribute to the late Cameron Boyce, who played one of Lenny’s kids. In addition, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the streamer enlisted Sandler’s wife, Jackie Sandler, and daughters, Sunny (Happy Gilmore 2) and Sadie (Roommates), since they’ve also appeared throughout the franchise as supporting characters. They played the family of one of the core five’s rivals, Tardio, who was portrayed by Richie Minervini.
