Chelsea looks to grab a win over Everton on Saturday, as the Blues look to stay near the top of the English Premier League table.
Chelsea enters Saturday on a bit of a whimper on all fronts. After beating Barcelona in UEFA Champions League action last month, the club has gone winless in its past four matches. Along with losing to Leeds United earlier this month, the Blues only have draws against Arsenal and Bournemouth.
On top of that, Chelsea suffered a costly loss to Atalanta in UCL play this past Tuesday. In the Premier League, Chelsea has fallen out of the top four, but is still close to a Champions League spot.
Quietly, Everton is not too far behind Chelsea in the league table. Thanks to a string of solid performances, Liverpool’s other team has climbed up the table over the past couple of weeks. The Toffeemen have picked up wins over Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest over the past week or so, putting them in the top half of the EPL.
Chelsea is fifth in the Premier League, one point behind fourth-place Crystal Palace. Everton is seventh, just one point behind Chelsea.
