GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Beloved German soccer fan Freddy is making his way back to the U.S. this fall to experience college football following his adventures during the FIFA World Cup.
On X, Freddy shared that his group plans to check out several sporting and other “unique American events” during the trip.
“The idea for this trip actually came from our visits to a few colleges on the last trip. Everyone told us how crazy it gets on gamedays, so now we want to experience it ourselves,” Freddy said.
Clemson University was among the colleges that Freddy and his friends visited over the summer, documenting the moment with a photo in front of Death Valley.
The university was quick to respond to Freddy’s announcement.
