Regé-Jean Page and Halle Bailey’s You, Me & Tuscany releases on Peacock very soon
Regé-Jean Page and Halle Bailey’s new comedy is arriving on Peacock next week. You, Me & Tuscany is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on August 7, 2026.
Helmed by Kat Coiro and written by Ryan Engle, You, Me & Tuscany debuted in U.S. theaters on April 10, 2026.
The romantic comedy follows Anna Montgomery, an aspiring chef whose life is disrupted after she loses both her temporary job and the place she is staying. Hoping for a fresh start, she impulsively travels to Tuscany and secretly moves into an empty villa owned by a man she recently met.
Her plan quickly falls apart when the homeowner’s mother unexpectedly arrives, forcing Anna to pretend she is engaged to her son. The lie becomes increasingly difficult to maintain after she meets his cousin, Michael Costa. Soon, an unexpected romance begins to develop between them, complicating both the lie and her future.
Halle Bailey leads the cast as Anna Montgomery, with Regé-Jean Page portraying Michael Costa. The cast also includes Marco Calvani as Lorenzo, Aziza Scott as Claire, Paolo Sassanelli as Vincenzo Costa, Stefania Casini as Nonna Alessia, among others.
The romantic comedy received a generally positive critical response. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a 65 percent critics’ score based on 134 reviews. Audience response proved considerably stronger, with a 92 percent audience score.
Andrew Lawrence of The Guardian reported, “You, Me & Tuscany is a perfectly wholesome and harmless meet-cute that starts by asking: What if the Little Mermaid had a Lady and the Tramp-style hookup with the season one heart-throb from Bridgerton, spaghetti and all?”
