At emm… café, a small vintage-chic spot that oozes charm, a genuine temple of 3D latte art, the coffee is enjoyed topped with adorable little cats sculpted from milk foam, all handmade.
In the heart of the capital, not far from Bastille, a new sweet spot quietly waits to make you press the pause button. Run by Olivia, emm… café elevates latte art to a finer art, with its signature—a milk foam sculpted into utterly adorable animal shapes.
This cozy little coffee shop with warm vibes, with vintage wood décor, invites you to slow down and savor a moment of rest, under its shortened name of « enjoy my moment », to do nothing but watch its drink come to life.
A true aficionado of felines (her own cat named Roubao), Olivia even went to China to master the highly intricate art of 3D latte art at that level. The main draw of the venue lies in the Latte Signatures (€7), available hot or cold.
Here, the milk foam is sculpted entirely by hand to form adorable little cats, rabbits, or teddy bears that seem to float on the surface of the glass, before Olivia perfects their expressions with a drizzle of caramel.
A foam so cute you almost don’t want to sip it, with tiny paws sticking out! Since she handles absolutely everything on her own in this little space of about fourteen seats, crafting these ephemeral little masterpieces requires real patience from customers, especially when it’s busy, and the choice of the little animal depends entirely on how much time she has at the moment of ordering—it’s the chef’s surprise.
For those who prefer to stray from the beaten path, the menu also reveals the surprising Meteor Latte, enhanced with konjac pearls and brown sugar, or the Tamago latte,—a visually striking creation where savory cream, cocoa and orange jam come together to sketch a fried egg atop the coffee. Some may even see their drink in matcha finished with adorable little sheep on the surface!
In addition to these signature drinks, you can enjoy all kinds of coffee—caramel, rose, vanilla, sesame or banana lattes—plus matcha, chocolat chaud, infused teas, or even glacé.
This final option, softly sweet and delicately scented, is the perfect refresher, available in lemon, passion fruit, or hibiscus (€5.50). Expect to pay €1.50 to add the famous 3D foam to your base drink, though it isn’t available for every choice.
While the menu currently centers on liquids, the venue plans to evolve with the arrival of cookies, as well as a long-term initiative for brunches. To get the best experience, we highly recommend starting with a morning visit, when there are far fewer people, helping you avoid the wait for your mousse.
Given the place’s size, you might not snag a seat, the cafe tends to fill up during afternoon tea, which means the wait for your precious latte art can be noticeably longer—consider yourself warned! You can also order to go to enjoy it somewhere else. A cute-as-can-be spot, provided you know how to slow down and savor it!
