Three T&T women join Jamaica Premier League | Local Sports

Three Trinidad and Tobago internationals have joined the Jamaican Women’s Premier League club WiFi United Women ahead of the upcoming season.

The trio, signed for undisclosed fees, are former Athletic Club of Port of Spain player Naomie Guerra, 30, Nicolette Craig, 28, who previously represented Club Sando FC, and Dennecia Prince, 29, formerly of Shining Star FC.

All three players bring international experience to the Jamaican club as WiFi United Women strengthen their squad for the new campaign. Guerra, Craig and Prince will now continue their careers in Jamaica as the club targets a successful season in the Women’s Premier League.

Guerra was transferred from Athletic Club of Port of Spain, Craig from Club Sando FC, while Prince, formerly from local clubs Defence Force and Club Sando, comes in from another Jamaican club Shining Star FC.

The three moves represent another opportunity for the T&T internationals to gain experience in a competitive overseas league.
