They are now in the running to be named in the World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops ranking

These are the two Northern Irish coffee shops named among the best in the UK.
The Best Coffee Shops UK 2026 list celebrates spots that excel in every aspect of the coffee experience, and those named will go head to head this summer to earn a spot on Europe’s 100 Best Coffee Shops list.
Coffee shops are judged on ambience and atmosphere, barista expertise, consistency, quality of food and pastries, innovation, coffee quality, customer service, sustainable practices and community.

Cultura Coffee in Belfast and Selah Coffee House in Lurgan were recognised in the 50 Best Coffee Shops in the UK list this year.
If selected to feature in Europe’s top 100 at World of Coffee in Brussels 2026, one of the top annual coffee events, Cultura and Selah Coffee House have the chance to be ranked within the top 100 in the world.
A spokesperson for UK’s Best Coffee Shops said: “Massive congrats to all the coffee shops that made it into The Best Coffee Shops UK 2026 List.
“These coffee shops are now running for a spot in Europe’s Best 100 Coffee Shop list in World of Coffee Brussels 2026!
“Our mission is to celebrate excellence in the UK’s Speciality Coffee Scene by spotlighting outstanding coffee shops and sharing their dedication, quality and craft.”
Another Northern Irish coffee shop received a special recognition award – Gráft Speciality Coffee in Derry was featured for receiving the most public votes.
They were highlighted for honouring “the connection with their customers and a meaningful engagement with in the UK coffee scene”.
