學歷通脹

現在碩士博士周街都是,尤其是我的工作環境,個個學歷差不多,而學歷跟品格、common sense、智慧不一定成正比,成反比的,亦多的是,所以甚麼學歷完全不在我考慮一個人質素如何之列。 現在尤甚,全球大學都開辦修課式碩士學位,大量收生等如大量增加收入,這個方向亦變成很多大學增加收入的辦法。有些大專院校,本來修課式碩士班收一百人,因為賺錢,翌年竟馬上大增名額到五百人。學生瞬間多五倍,但行政人手、恒常師資、校園硬件和軟件配套卻依舊,可想而知,課程質素會如何。 觀察到的現況是,全球高等教育正陷入一場「學歷通脹」危機,每年大量碩博士「出產」,而某些國家尤其嚴重——十年間,碩博士畢業生人數翻倍,在學博士總量飆升至六十萬人。當碩博士頭銜氾濫,光環就會急速褪色,取而代之的是就業市場的殘酷擠壓、教育資源的嚴重錯配,以及「高學歷低就業」的社會實況。 過剩的代價,最終由全社會埋單,將會有愈來愈多的「高學歷低能力」人士湧現職場或大學教職位。亦會有大量高學歷畢業者因高不成低不就,就業無門,被迫轉行或「躺平」,造成高端人力資源的嚴重浪費。當博士頭銜不再代表「頂尖人才」,而只是「延緩就業」的避風港,高等教育的意義何在? 碩博士學位原本是學術頂尖人才的象徵,現幾乎因學歷通脹而變成就業市場的「基本門檻」。碩博士氾濫,並非代表我們的社會「教育進步」了,而是資源錯配的警號。當社會不再需要那麼多碩博士,卻仍在瘋狂生產,最終只會暴露出高學歷銜頭之平庸,這只會釀成一場更大的就業與教育危機。 撰文 : 利嘉敏 欄名 : 攻關女子 Source link
