電台節目談到長途電話，勾起很多往事。 某日某月，曾經苦戀某個她，可是卻遭到她的家人反對。家人對她看管甚嚴，我們不能見面，通電話呢？那時並沒有手提電話；致電到家中可以嗎？又怕被她的家人發現。我們陷於斷絕通訊聯繫的危機。 當時我們都在美國，我在距離她兩小時車程以外的地方讀書。當地家用電話的收費模式與香港不同，住在港島，要致電新界，當然不用付錢；但住在三藩市縣的人要致電只是十五分鐘車程以外的奧克蘭縣，則視為長途電話，而致電給甚麼號碼，亦會在電話帳單內一目了然。所以，她是絕對不能致電給我，否則被家人發現，後果便不堪設想。 兩個熱戀中的人，互相思念，又不能見面，連她的聲音也聽不到，我們如何是好？後來我們找到了一個「方法」——原來當地電話，只是接通但沒有接聽，便不用收費。於是我們採取以下方式聯繫：她趁家人不在的時候，用電話致電遠方的我，但只響三聲便掛綫，我知道這「響三聲便收綫」是一個暗號，代表她現在可以談電話，我便馬上回電給她，由於接電話不用收費，賬單內亦不會有來電顯示，所以便可以神不知、鬼不覺。 我們就是這樣，用盡方法，只想聽聽對方的聲音，訴說一下大家的近況。每一通電話，都是彌足珍貴，又來之不易，而且還要付費。年少無知，戀愛大過天，那時為着電話費這回事，不知和辛勞的媽媽吵了多少次架。 「如果有一天，新科技可以讓我們一打開電話就能看見你的臉，或是長途電話不用再收費，那就好了，到時我們一定……」當年我們時常這樣幻想。 今天，這些科技都出現了，但那些年的愛情故事，也同時走進了回憶…… 撰文 : 劉偉恒 欄名 : 關男人事 Source link
