Sygnus Credit Investments Limited Announces Second Share Buyback Programme of up to US$4.5 Million
Sygnus Credit Investments Limited has approved a second Share Buyback Programme of up to US$4.5 million over a three-year period ending June 2029, under which the Company may repurchase its JMD and USD Ordinary Shares on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (“JSE”). The Programme provides SCI with the flexibility to repurchase shares when they are trading at a discount to NAV, subject to market conditions, liquidity and Board-approved criteria.
The Programme follows the Company’s first Share Buyback Programme, which was executed between June 2023 and June 2026, during which 136,525 USD Ordinary Shares and 10,274,842 JMD Ordinary Shares were repurchased. This second Share Buyback Programme reinforces the Company’s commitment to enhancing value for shareholders.
The Share Buyback Programme is in keeping with the provisions of the Company’s Articles of Association, which establish a framework for periodic share repurchase invitations to shareholders.
