Prime Video has officially set the streaming release for the third and final season of Maxton Hall: The World Between Us. The German-language teen drama will return with six new episodes, continuing Ruby and James’ story. Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung are also returning in the lead roles.
Maxton Hall Season 3 arrives on Prime Video in December
Prime Video has confirmed that Season 3 of Maxton Hall: The World Between Us will premiere on December 9, 2026. The six-episode season will be the final season of the German-language teen romance series. The streaming platform announced the release date earlier this week and released a new poster featuring Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung as Ruby and James.
Season 3 picks up after the events of the second season, with Ruby suspended from Maxton Hall College. With James seemingly involved in the decision, Ruby’s place at the school and her plans to attend Oxford University are put in jeopardy. The pair decides to investigate the circumstances themselves, hoping to uncover enough evidence to clear her name. As hidden secrets come to light, their relationship faces new pressure, while tensions among their friends also increase.
Season 3 is based on Save Us, the third novel in Mona Kasten’s book trilogy published by LYX. Martin Schreier is returning to direct the series, while Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim are serving as executive producers. Yildirim wrote the season with Sandra Stöckmann, Marlene Melchior, Catharina Junk, and Aylin Kockler.
Other returning cast members include Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Eidin Jalali as Graham, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Govinda Gabriel as Kesh, Andrea Guo as Lin, and more. The final season will consist of six episodes, the same number as the previous two seasons.
