In a first, the English Premier League — widely known as the best soccer league in the world — will host watch parties across the U.S. this weekend, and Cincinnati is part of the fun.

As part of the EPL’s “Coast to Coast” initiative taking place during the league’s opening weekend, this Saturday will see the Premier League club Hull City partner up with downtown bar The Stretch for an official watch party.
The match, which will see Hull City take on Manchester United, begins at 7:30 a.m.; The Stretch’s watch party will begin an hour earlier, and promises plenty of specialty drinks alongside kegs & eggs.
For those unaware, Hull City is one of the EPL’s most exciting stories, as the team was just promoted to the top league after a stunning victory in last season’s playoffs. It’s their first time playing in the Premier League in nine years. Hull City was chosen as Cincinnati’s team to spotlight because of their team colors: orange, black and white, which just so happen to be the team colors of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Stretch is already decorated in those same colors, as well, making it a perfect watch spot for either team.
The watch parties and events across the country will create a unique start to the new season, bringing fans closer to Premier League clubs while building on the success of the 2025/26 Premier League season, which was the most-watched ever in the United States across the NBC Broadcast Network with an average total audience of 1.2 million viewers.
“We’re incredibly excited to be part of the Premier League’s Coast to Coast initiative and to bring Hull City supporters together in Cincinnati for the opening weekend of the Premier League season. We know there is a passionate and growing community of Hull City supporters across the United States, and events like this are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate that community and share what makes Hull City special with even more fans,” the club said in a statement.
