The new Elf on the Shelf Après Ski Traveler Deluxe Set will be available exclusively on Amazon beginning on July 20, 2026, and is part of Elf on the Shelf’s MagiFreez collection. The set retails for $14.95 and, as its name suggests, shows off the titular Elf on the Shelf in a snazzy Après ski outfit, complete with a sweater, snow goggles, MagiFreez legs, furry boot covers, an Elf juice glass, and a cocoa mug.

The Elf on the Shelf began as a children’s book written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell. Published in 2005, the book followed a Christmas tradition started by Aebersold, centered on an elf assigned by Santa Claus to monitor children’s behavior ahead of Christmas.
The book came packaged with an elf that parents could place on the shelf. The concept of the Elf on the Shelf has since taken off into a bona fide Christmas tradition for many households. Following its release, Elf on the Shelf has been spun off into a number of different projects, including an animated special in 2011, a partnership with Netflix in 2020 that included an original live-action and animated series, and other movies.
