If you know me (I know realistically most of you don’t), I love coffee shops — and not just because they’re trendy.
I love watching the baristas measuring the espresso, frothing the milk into foam, adding dollops to create latte art and all the steps in between before they call out my name.
But spending about $7 to $8 at least three times a week on one cup of really good coffee can really add up — like, a lot.
Funnily enough, the money was not what made me get my own espresso machine. It was a Cuban cafecito, basically a super sweet espresso shot, that I was served at Taste of the City, held by Buen Sabor Cuban Tours and The Dame.
