On Saturday, Kristen Stewart made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival for Quentin Dupieux’s Full Phil photocall. The actress was dressed in a Chanel skirt suit from its spring 2026 haute couture collection, made of completely sheer white fabric. The look did incorporate a nude underlay with purple lace details, maintaining the illusion of skin under the daring two-piece.
The collared top featured a plunging neckline and two delicate pockets. The skirt fell just below the actress’s knees and also featured pockets with white and gold buttons. She accessorized with a silver Chanel Lune ring, silver wire-frame sunglasses, and a pair of vintage Nike saddle shoes. Her short hair was clipped back in pieces, with bangs framing her face.
Speaking of Dupieux’s film in an interview with Variety, Stewart said she signed on before reading the full script.
“I love his movies. They just don’t look or feel like anyone else’s, and those are the types of directors that actors are so lucky to be able to follow,” Stewart shared. “He holds the camera at all times. You are with him, connected completely. He knows how he’s going to edit it by the end of the day. If he’s missing a shot, he gets it. He’s beyond an auteur, he’s like a mastermind.”
The movie follows Stewart and Woody Harrelson, who plays her father, as they travel to Paris to reconnect. The two Americans are attempting to reconnect but have their plans derailed by a series of ridiculous interruptions and by culture clash.
She was very excited to work with Harrelson as well.
“As an actor, I just admire him so much and he’s such a nice guy,” the star shared. “It’s a really sweet story, a father and daughter trying to reconnect and doing all the wrong things in order to achieve that but in such an absurd and kind of devastating, sardonic, fucked way.”
