Germany’s transition from Adidas to Nike is set to bring a historic design shift, with leaks confirming that the DFB’s first-ever Nike away kit for the men’s team might feature a vibrant “Green Spark” base paired with sleek black logos.
The leaked “Green Spark” colorway is significantly brighter and has a more eye-catching aesthetic than recent kits, and the sharp black crests and sponsor accents bring it together. The color itself isn’t the most appealing, but the bold choice might be paying homage to the DFB’s classic green away shirts, a tradition originally introduced in the 1900’s. Adidas only really experimented with colors intermittently, and none of them were this bold. If Nike is looking to bring back vintage looks, fans might just be into it.
