While there is no guarantee attendees will see the royal guests in person, officials are promoting the visit as a historic opportunity tied to the couple’s first trip to the United States as king and queen.
The town is advising attendees to plan ahead for tight conditions along the parade route, noting that space on Main Street will be limited. Officials also emphasized that the event will be brief.
