Ben-Gurion Airport Police arrested a well-known Israeli television star on Friday morning after he was suspected of driving a Tesla with an invalid driver’s license.
The star has participated in, among other shows, Channel 13’s reality documentary Goalstar, which involves celebrities playing soccer.
According to the police, the suspect’s license had been made valid on Thursday following a ruling made by Ashdod’s traffic court.
The star was detained for questioning, while the passenger sitting next to him was released. The entire incident was recorded on the police’s body cameras.
He was detained for questioning for driving while disqualified. He was questioned and released to five days of house arrest with a summons to court.
