Jürgen Klopp will roll out his first squad as head coach of Germany and there is a leaked lineup for tonight’s Nations League clash against the Netherlands.
According to Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia below), Germany is expected to line up with Marc-André ter Stegen in goal, while Philipp Treu, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jonathan Tah and Nathaniel Brown form the back four. Treu, a right-back, would be in line to make his Germany debut, adding an interesting element to Klopp’s first match in charge.
Joshua Kimmich is expected to return to his preferred central midfield position alongside Felix Nmecha. That would allow the Germany captain to influence the game from the middle rather than filling in at right-back, something Klopp has already indicated he wants to change.
Further forward, Kevin Schade and Karim Adeyemi are expected to provide the width and pace around Jamal Musiala, with Kai Havertz leading the line.
