A Disney+ streaming release date for Hoppers has been announced. The Disney and Pixar movie was released in United States theaters this past March and received excellent reviews from fans and critics alike.
Directed by Daniel Chong, Hoppers is the Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures sci-fi comedy movie about a girl who transfers her mind into a robotic beaver. The film’s voice cast includes Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka, Bobby Moynihan as King George, Jon Hamm as Jerry Generazzo, and more.
When is Hoppers being released on Disney+?

The synopsis for Hoppers reads, “In this animated comedy adventure, animal lover Mabel seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a lifelike robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she makes amazing discoveries, Mabel befriends a charismatic beaver and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent, human threat.”
Hoppers currently has a 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer with 222 reviews, while the audience’s Popcornmeter score is 93 percent. The movie grossed approximately $386 million at the global box office. Chong previously said that he would be interested in potentially making a sequel to Hoppers, though there’s been no official announcement about any follow-up project from Disney or Pixar at this time.
Nicole Paradis Grindle serves as the producer on Hoppers, while Pete Docter, Peter Sohn, and Kiri Hart serve as executive producers. The screenplay comes from Jesse Andrews, based on a story by Chong and Andrews. Additional members of the voice cast include Kathy Najimy as Dr. Sam Fairfax, Dave Franco as Titus, Eduardo Franco as Loaf, Sam Richardson as Conner, and Meryl Streep as Insect Queen.
