The Azzurri are led by interim coach Silvio Baldini, promoted from the U21 squad. This is Baldini’s second and final game in charge of the senior team, as Italy will hire a new coach after June 22, 2026, when a new President of the Italian Federation will be appointed.

The Azzurri beat Luxembourg 1-0 on Wednesday night, and Baldini has only made two changes to the line-up.
Atalanta defender Honest Ahanor starts as a right-back in place of Costantino Favasuli, and Jeff Ekhator is the right winger replacing Luigi Cherubini.
The rest of the starting team is the same as the one that beat Luxembourg on Wednesday, with captain Gigio Donnarumma in goal, Pio Esposito in attack and Roma’s Niccolò Pisilli in central midfield.
