Gate 上线股票转仓功能:打通美股及港股跨券商资产流转 – Odaily

Gate officially launches stock transfer-in and transfer-out functions, supporting cross-broker asset transfers for US and Hong Kong stocks, further optimizing its global stock trading service system. Users can apply to transfer stocks held by external brokers into Gate, or transfer positions held in Gate’s stock account out to other brokers, achieving more flexible and efficient management and allocation of stock assets.

Gate’s newly launched stock transfer service does not charge fees for stock transfers in or out. The service adopts the FOP transfer method, where US stocks are processed through the DTC system and Hong Kong stocks through the CCASS system. The entire transfer process is expected to take 3 to 15 business days, with the actual completion time depending on the processing efficiency of both brokers and market procedures.

Regarding the usage process, users can navigate to the ‘More’ page in the Gate App, enter the ‘Transfer In Stocks’ or ‘Transfer Out Stocks’ function under ‘Common Functions’, select the US or Hong Kong stock market as guided, fill in relevant information such as broker details, stock code, and quantity, and then submit the application. For transfer-in scenarios, users need to contact the original broker to initiate the transfer; for transfer-out scenarios, they must accurately fill in the receiving broker’s information. The platform also provides an application record inquiry function, allowing users to check the processing status in real-time, including ‘Processing’, ‘Completed’, and ‘Cancelled’ stages. Currently, this feature is being gradually rolled out; users can follow subsequent version update information.

To further reduce users’ cross-broker transfer costs, Gate is simultaneously launching a limited-time ‘Stock Deposit Bonus’ campaign. During the campaign period from July 1, 2026, to July 7, 2026, users who register and submit applications for transferring in US or Hong Kong stocks, successfully transferring in assets with a market value equivalent to at least 3,000 USDT, can apply for a fee subsidy by providing valid transfer fee documents from the original broker. They will also enjoy a VIP upgrade benefit. The maximum subsidy for US stock transfer fees is 15,000 USDT, and for Hong Kong stocks, it is 6,000 USDT. The VIP level can be upgraded up to VIP 9. The specific subsidy amount will be granted based on the actual transfer fees and corresponding brackets. Users can visit the campaign page for details and subsidy rules: https://www.gate.com/campaigns/5358.

The launch of the stock transfer service marks a further step for Gate’s global stock business towards comprehensive asset management capabilities. Previously, Gate already supported users in trading over 10,000 US mainstream market stocks and ETFs using USDT, covering major US securities trading markets and liquidity networks such as NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, and BATS. It also listed over 1,500 Hong Kong stock targets and supported over 1,000 Korean stocks, covering a total of over 12,500 global stocks and ETF assets, providing users with richer global asset allocation choices.

Simultaneously, Gate stocks support 7×24 hour trading for US, Hong Kong, and Korean stocks, breaking through the trading time limits of traditional securities markets. It further covers overnight and weekend trading sessions on top of pre-market, regular, and after-hours trading, offering global investors a more flexible trading experience. The platform also supports fractional share trading with a minimum investment of 0.01 shares, lowering the entry barrier for global stock investment.

Leveraging a unified account system, Gate integrates digital assets and global stock assets on a single platform. Users do not need to switch between multiple accounts to manage both digital assets and traditional financial assets in one place. Furthermore, Gate stocks are connected to the platform’s VIP tier system. Users holding assets equivalent to $2,000 can advance to VIP status, enjoying exclusive stock trading fees as low as 0.023% and services like a 1V1 account manager, further enhancing the cross-market investment experience.

The launch of the stock transfer-in and transfer-out function further strengthens Gate’s stock business service capabilities in the asset transfer link, creating a complete closed loop from global stock trading and position management to cross-broker asset migration. Relying on a product system covering major global stock markets, a unified account structure, and the ability to integrate digital and traditional financial asset management, Gate is continuously improving its multi-asset service ecosystem and enhancing the efficiency of cross-market and cross-asset allocation for global investors. In the future, Gate will continue to expand its global market coverage, refine its multi-asset trading and wealth management system, and build a more open, convenient, and efficient one-stop global investment platform for users.
