Exclusive: Sophie Squillacioti launches Asia focused CFDs broker Brex Capital. FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that FX and CFDs industry veteran Sophie Squillacioti has launched a new CFDs brokerage brand called Brex Capital (website brexcapital.com). Sophie will also serve as CEO of Brex Capital. Brex Capital is operated mainly from Dubai, where Sophie is based, as well as Bangkok, and seems to be focusing mainly on traders in Asia, offering service on its website in Thai and Vietnamese, in addition to English.

Robinhood UK gets crypto license nod. While no formal announcement has been made about the launch of services, US neobroker Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) is now cleared for offering retail trading activity in crypto to UK clients. Robinhood UK’s FCA license has been updated, as of July 31, 2026, to now include “Arranging or making arrangements (including receiving and transmitting orders) with a view to the execution of transactions in cryptoassets and money”.

NAGA posts 47% EBIDTA jump in H1 2026 to €4.4M, Net Profit €0.9M. NAGA Group AG (ETR:N4G0), the multi-asset fintech group behind the NAGA One SuperApp, has followed up its first profitable Q1 earlier this year with continued improved results for the first half of 2026. cTrader Store launches subscriptions for trading products. Leading broker tech provider Spotware Systems has announced that its cTrader Store is expanding beyond one-off purchases, by introducing subscriptions for cBots, indicators and plugins. Traders can access premium products through smaller recurring payments, while sellers can build recurring revenue through successful subscription renewals.

ASIC suspends license of CFDs broker GFA Capital Markets. Australia financial regulator ASIC has announced that it has suspended the Australian financial services license (AFS) of CFD issuer GFA Capital Markets Ltd for five months, after finding multiple client money, reporting obligation and compliance failures. GFA is one of numerous Australia based CFDs brokers that focus on Chinese and other Far East based retail clients.
