Former teammates Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa will put their friendship aside as Chelsea travels to face Fulham in a west London derby on Monday. The two clubs get their Premier League campaigns up and running at Craven Cottage, where the former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Spain comrades will reunite under serious circumstances.

The Cottagers pulled off the home win when last they hosted this fixture in January, with each side having come out on top twice apiece across their last four encounters. Both Alonso and Arbeloa are seeking redemption after each being fired by Los Blancos over the past year and hope a derby triumph on Monday will kickstart a much more successful chapter in their respective careers.
