Upcoming Disney+ K-Drama Shows

Gold Land is a new K-Drama series coming soon to Disney+. The official description for the show says:
When Heeju accidentally gets her hands on a stash of smuggled gold bars, she’s thrust into a chaotic world of greed and betrayal. As those around her fight for the gold, Heeju becomes consumed by the desire to keep it all, igniting a desperate battle for survival.
Gold Land will be available to stream on Disney+ starting April 29, 2026.

Another K-Drama show in development for Disney+ is titled The Koreans, a remake of the FX series The Americans. It stars Lee Byung-hun of Squid Game and Han Ji-min.
In the same vein as The Americans, The Koreans also centers characters living undercover. Set during the early 1990s when modernization and democratization were taking South Korea by storm, the show follows North Korean spies living in South Korea, tasked with destabilizing the country while posing as an ordinary family. The characters, while avoiding detection, must decide whether to be loyal to their cause or be true to themselves.
