The delegation reflected the depth of talent, commitment and leadership emerging across the Concacaf region, with representatives bringing experience from football operations, competitions, national teams, Member Association affairs, communications and administration.
“Developing and elevating women leaders across football is essential to building a stronger, more inclusive and more representative game,” said Philippe Moggio, Concacaf General Secretary. “We are grateful to DFB for investing in this program and for creating a space where participants from our region could exchange ideas, build meaningful relationships and return home with new tools to help shape the future of football.”
The program featured contributions from respected voices across the sport, including Concacaf Chief Commercial Officer Heidi Pellerano, Liga BBVA MX Femenil President Mariana Gutiérrez, FIFA Chief Football Officer Jill Ellis, UEFA Vice-President Laura McAllister, Mexican Football Association Director of Women’s National Teams Andrea Rodebaugh, and She Wins Mexico Founder Cecilia Vales.
Since launching in 2021, Future Leaders in Football has brought together more than 100 emerging women leaders from around the world. Its seventh edition placed a particular focus on the Concacaf region, strengthening international cooperation while supporting women to pursue and succeed in leadership roles throughout football.
