A Canadian frigate and Australian destroyer sailed through the Taiwan Strait over the weekend, prompting protests from China. Hobart-class destroyer HMAS Brisbane (DDG-41) and Halifax-class frigate HMCS Ville de Québec (FFH 332) performed the transit on Saturday, China’s state-run media reported.
