A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona this week received a formal contract proposal on the part of Italian heavyweights Juventus.
The Blaugrana star in question? Robert Lewandowski.

Frontman Lewandowski is of course widely expected to bring a close to the Barcelona chapter of his career this summer.
This comes with the Pole, ahead of turning 38 in August, having not been offered a renewal to his expiring contract terms.
A number of clubs from across the continent have in turn expressed a keen interest in Lewandowski’s signature.
And as alluded to above, this week, one such suitor have stepped up their pursuit, by way of an official offer.
As per a report from Diario Sport, citing Italian outlet Tuttosport:
‘Juventus’ proposal would be for a single season and with a net salary of six million euros plus bonuses. The talks are on the right track and there is optimism about reaching an agreement during the month of May.’
