The company is partnering with the new league series as its inaugural season gets ready for kickoff
DMC Production Germany has announced its appointment as international TV production partner 2026 for the newly-established American Football League Europe (AFLE). Part of the Swedish-based DMC Production Group, the company has “extensive experience” in the delivery of large-scale productions for broadcasters, organisations and rights holders across Europe.
Taking on operational and technical responsibility for live international broadcasts of 36 games across six countries – Austria, England, France, Italy, Poland and Switzerland, DMC Production will utilise a hybrid model combing on-site and centralised workflows. An additional service provider will handle games in Berlin and Duisburg.
Following a successful initial test match in Vienna, DMC production will adopt a 10 camera concept, which includes a Super Slow-Motion camera and wireless gimbal camera aiming to enable dynamic and flexible image capture. Additionally, the system features main and tight shot cameras (including high speed up to 150 fbs), goal-line, sideline and end-zone perspectives, high-angle and tactical views with Cine and beauty cameras for stadium imagery.
A fleet of OB trucks will produce the entire world feed on-site with signal routing via uplink or SNG-based transmission, integration of stadium and commentary audio and international delivery of full-mix and clean feeds. Production is delivered in 1080i50 quality with end-to-end uncompressed signal handling up to final handover.
Clearly defined workflows aim to provide viewers with an immersive live viewing experience, with a setup specifically tailored for European league operations and designed to meet the following core requirements:
- Scalability for multiple game days and parallel operations
- Flexible camera configurations per match (5 to 14 cameras)
- Modular, location-independent production architecture
- High-cost efficiency with consistent broadcast quality
- Resource-efficient production planning through local crews, reduced travel requirements and optimised logistics
The production model aims to keep sustainability in focus, with infrastructure optimisation and the use of local teams to reduce environmental impacts.

Holger Enßlin, MD, DMC Production Germany GmbH, commented, “The AFLE 2026 season marks an important milestone for the future of European sports production. With our scalable production approach and the intelligent integration of remote and on-site workflows, we are shaping a new generation of live broadcasts – consistently high in quality, efficient, and future-oriented.”
Moritz Heisler, MD and COO, American Football League Europe, added, “From day one, we made a commitment to produce our games at the highest possible level. Partnering with DMC Production Germany is a direct expression of that commitment. With a multi-camera setup that captures every angle of the game and a production model built for the scale and complexity of a pan-European league, we are setting a new benchmark for American football on television in Europe. We want every fan watching at home to feel the intensity, the speed, and the quality of what is happening on that field. DMC gives us the tools to do exactly that.”
