All games – full schedule

The 2026 FIFA World Cup takes place from 11 June to 19 July, with a record 48 teams competing for football’s most coveted trophy across North America.

England are one of four teams competing in Group L – drawn alongside Croatia, Ghana, and Panama – where the Three Lions aim to end their major title drought, the last of which coming in the 1966 edition of this competition.

Thomas Tuchel’s side boasts an experienced 26-man squad, with the likes of Jude BellinghamMarcus Rashford, and captain Harry Kane leading the line. The German manager has also opted for plenty of fresh faces, nine of which – including Elliott Anderson and Morgan Rogers – will make their maiden senior tournament bow.

This year’s showpiece is England’s eighth consecutive year competing at the World Cup, making it out of the group stages in six of those previous editions.
