Fresh images from the Quiet Place 3 set have offered a new look at two key stars. The photos show Cillian Murphy and Jack O’Connell sprinting through New York streets covered in dirt and sweat. While plot details remain under wraps, the latest behind-the-scenes images suggest the survival struggle is far from over. The franchise has steadily expanded since its debut in 2018, and production on the newest installment now appears to be moving ahead at full speed.
A Quiet Place 3 set photos show Cillian Murphy and Jack O’Connell
The newly released set photos were taken in New York City on June 4 and feature Cillian Murphy alongside Jack O’Connell during filming. Both actors appear battered and exhausted, with dirt-stained clothing and sweat-covered faces as they run through city streets. The images hint at another tense and dangerous chapter for the post-apocalyptic horror series, though Paramount has yet to reveal major story details.
Before these images surfaced, one of the biggest questions surrounding the sequel was how Murphy’s Emmett would fit into the story. He became a central figure in 2021’s A Quiet Place Part II, helping the Abbott family survive after the death of Lee Abbott. The character quickly became a fan favorite, making Murphy’s return one of the film’s biggest draws.
The franchise has grown significantly since John Krasinski launched the original film in 2018. That movie followed a family forced to live in silence while deadly creatures hunted anything that made noise.
It was followed by A Quiet Place Part II in 2021 and the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One in 2024. Together, the films have earned more than $900 million worldwide and established one of modern horror’s most successful franchises.
Critics and audiences have largely welcomed the series. The original film holds a 96% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.5/10 IMDb rating. Part II earned 91% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.2/10 on IMDb, while Day One received an 86% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.3/10 IMDb rating.
