Why Colin from Accounts Season 3 Episode 9 Is Not Releasing on Paramount+ This Week

Many want to know why Colin from Accounts Season 3 Episode 9 didn’t premiere on Paramount+ this week. The Australian dramedy follows Ashley, Gordon, and an injured dog. Destiny brings them together after a car accident, while love connects them as they accept each other with all their imperfections. With no new episode airing this week, fans are wondering why.

Why Paramount+ isn’t releasing Colin from Accounts Season 3 Episode 9 this week

Colin from Accounts Season 3 officially concluded on September 7. It only had 8 episodes, with the final one titled “Rum ‘n’ Raisin.”

The final episode featured Ash trying to deal with Gordon’s behavior at Brett’s party. Lynette and Lee experience legal trouble. Ash and Gordon are pulled back to the place they first met thanks to Colin’s side quest involving a bag of raisins. It should be noted that Season 3 was the last chapter of the series and that it won’t be renewed.

In a conversation with Radio Times, Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall shared why they chose to end the series. Brammall said, ” The Office and Fawlty Towers are the gold standard in terms of this sort of thing, but there is a practical component to it. We started writing season three in August 2024.” Dyer further revealed that they only had a 4-month break between releasing Season 2 and writing Season 3. She further reflected on their kids’ complaints about being way too indulged in the storyline and its characters.

“Our eldest daughter is almost five. She walked into our room the other day, and I thought, “Your whole life, you’ve had to share your parents with this fictional dog and these fictional characters. It does consume us,” she elaborated.

All three seasons of Colin from Accounts are originally available on Binge and on Paramount+ in the US.
