HONG KONG — A cultural and tourism promotion event for Zhejiang province was held in Hong Kong Wednesday, as the eastern Chinese province rolled out the red carpet for travelers from Hong Kong and Macao, offering customized travel routes and a new round of smart travel services.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the upgraded Zhejiang Travel smart tourism platform. The platform offers a suite of new perks tailored specifically for travelers from the two special administrative regions, including inbound consumption vouchers, high-end accommodation discounts, convenient payment channels and a trendy activity experience card.
A ceremonial send-off was held for the inaugural tour group for an itinerary specially designed for Hong Kong and Macao travelers. In the packaged themed on Mid-Autumn Festival, the tourists will have the opportunity to witness the famous Qiantang River tidal bore and enjoy the Jiangnan moonlight, all in one seamless trip covering Zhejiang’s most iconic cultural and scenic attractions.
