- Texas Stock Exchange has opened to public trading with a small set of stocks and ETFs while thousands more are scheduled to join by the end of July.
- TXSE trading runs 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central with pre‑market, regular and post‑market sessions, giving investors another venue alongside NYSE and Nasdaq.
- Backed by firms like Bank of America, BlackRock and Goldman Sachs, the Dallas‑based exchange is the first fully integrated national venue to launch in decades.
- Only a handful of securities are live now, but 205 new listings are slated between July 14 and July 17 as TXSE ramps toward more than 3,000 tradable products.
- No companies are yet listed directly on TXSE, so investors will be watching how trading volume, pricing and future corporate listings develop through the rollout.
The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) is now live and available to the public for trading, marking the first fully integrated national stock exchange to launch operations in the U.S. in decades.
Last week, on June 6, the stock exchange went live for testing, but the first official day of public trading was July 10. The launch is part of a broader effort by state and business leaders to solidify Texas’ position as a financial hub and to challenge NYSE and Nasdaq.
For now, only a handful of securities are available; more will be added over time — with 205 being added between July 14 and July 17.
In total, more than 3,000 securities are expected to be available for trading on the stock exchange by the end of the rollout on July 31, according to TXSE’s rollout plan. No company is listed on the TXSE yet.
Here’s what to know about TXSE and the securities that will begin trading this week.
