INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every Saturday, WISH-TV highlights a local company together with our partners at Indiana Grown.
This week, Michael Filley, owner of Wild Spirit Coffee, joined News 8 at Daybreak.
Filley started Wild Spirit Coffee in 2021. While he worked in the medical field, much of his spare time was spent as an at-home coffee roaster. He chose to step away from the trauma unit in 2021 to pursue his coffee business.
“There’s no trauma in coffee,” he noted.
Filley says all of Wild Spirit’s coffees are single-source and sustainably grown, and come in many varieties for taste, quality, and enhanced flavor.
While the small batch roastery is in Greene County, you can find Wild Spirit at various farmers markets, festivals, and shops, including Common Grounds Coffee & Tea Bar in Nashville, Indiana, or the Safeway on North Illinois Street in the Broad Ripple area.
To check out more of Wild Spirit’s offerings, visit their website, and watch the interview above!
